ABOUT GOLDVINE

Our Promise

No shortcuts.

That's our promise. This means making the syrups the hard way.

Small batches, long steep time, flavors from the authentic source. This means never any artifical flavors, extracts, bean pastes, or vanilla caviar added to the end of production. The earth gives us many beautiful things, and we harness the natural flavors, just like they were made to be enjoyed.

Simply Authentic

Our syrups have only the essentials. We vow to only include all natural ingredients in all our products.
Take a look at how we make our signature vanilla syrup, for example.

1: Sugar.

In our vanilla syrup, we use a proprietary blend of pure cane sugar, and brown sugar to maximize flavor

2: Water.

We use double-filtered water, because you deserve the best.

3: Vanilla.

We use grade A beans in our vanilla syrup. We chose to use a varietal from Madagascar due to the unique floral notes. Each 16 oz bottle has the equivalent of about 3 scraped whole vanilla beans inside!

4: Citric Acid.

Our citric acid is considered vegan and all-natural, as it is derived from the fermentation of yeast. This is added to help ensure no germs like botulism or fungus contaminate the syrup, and also causes a chemical reaction to make the syrup taste sweeter without adding more sugar!

Frequently asked questions

What makes Goldvine Syrups different from other coffee syrups?

Goldvine Syrups are crafted in small batches using real ingredients, not artificial flavorings or extracts. Our syrups are designed to deliver rich flavor and café-quality results at home.

Is this all natural, vegan, organic, gluten free, etc?

An ingredient list is included on every bottle. We only make claims to be all-natural. Some limited runs of syrups may use honey, for example, lavender-honey syrup, which is not always considered vegan; however, we will always be transparent about what goes in each bottle in accordance with FDA laws.

I see stuff floating in my bottle, what is this?

Great question! We craft our syrups by hand. This includes receiving a whole batch of vanilla beans from Madagascar, cutting them with a knife, and scraping out the seeds inside. As part of the scraping process, some of the beans themselves may be scraped and may have a light brown appearance in the bottle. Much like pulp in orange juice, this is a completely edible product as part of the vanilla. Oh, and the black flecks you see are the actual vanilla bean seeds, which impart the tasty vanilla flavor!

How long does a bottle last?

Typically, unopened syrups of our thickness and concentration last 12 months at room temperature if unopened. Expiration dates can be found at the underside of the bottle

Already opened? The syrup is best by 30 days after opening.

Refrigeration could offer even more shelf life as this will inhibit microbial growth further.

Can I reuse the vanilla bean in the bottle?

We don't recommend this for flavor, texture, and food safety reasons.

What can I use Goldvine syrups for?

Coffee, cocktails, baking, tea, breakfast syrups for waffles or pancakes, and more.

The Story

Goldvine Syrups was born from a simple belief: coffee syrups should taste like real ingredients, not artificial flavors.

Like many coffee lovers, we started by experimenting with homemade lattes. But after trying countless “premium” syrups, we grew frustrated. Most were loaded with artificial flavorings, overly sweet formulas, and misleading claims. Many advertised “real vanilla,” yet only tossed in a few vanilla seeds at the very end, while the actual flavor came from cheap extracts.

We knew there had to be a better way.

So we began making our own syrups in small batches. Using traditional infusion methods and real botanicals, starting with whole Madagascar vanilla beans and fragrant culinary lavender, we created balanced, high-quality syrups that enhance coffee rather than mask it.

The difference was undeniable. Friends and family quickly took notice and kept asking where they could buy a bottle. What started as a simple kitchen experiment soon grew into Goldvine Syrups.
